June Hike (6/1/19)

iCal Import
Start:
July 28, 2019

Come hike the Middlefork Savanna Forest Preserve with us.  The path is mostly flat, consisting of gravel and grass—easy walking. The route will consist of part of a half-mile loop and then a northerly path. As opposed to setting a distance, before we start we’ll set a time limit for going north, then turn around, retrace our steps to the loop and continue around.

The path is mostly in the open, so sunscreen and/or hats are recommended. Bring water.  This event is being hosted by Howard Cheskin.
After the hike we will be having lunch at the Silo Restaurant, 625 Rockland Road, Lake Bluff, IL.
You must RSVP to attend this event.  For contact information email club50_120@yahoo.com and look for “June Hike (6/1/19)” the the suto response from Nancy Drew.
Give Howard your cell phone number for use day of hike and bring your phone along!
There are restroom facilities in the Wildlife Discovery Center building near our meeting point, but none on the path.
Lunch after the walk will be at
